Elrike Theron is a self-taught watercolour artist and aspiring printmaker who finds inspiration in the complexities and wonders found in nature.
She hopes to draw the viewers' attention to the delicate details and intricacies found in seemingly simple and mundane objects by isolating and recreating found objects such as leaves, flowers, and shells. It is her hope to create an appreciation for the natural world and to bring the viewer to a standstill in the attention-stealing blur of our society.
