Fleur de
Bondt, b.1989, identifies as an ever-evolving creator. Her diverse artistic
practice spans printmaking, mixed media, and painting, drawing inspiration from
her subconscious and living experience to explore the human condition and the
ability to survive. She enjoys playing with alternative methods of printmaking.
Fleur has showcased her work in spaces such as Constitution Hill, and FNB, Cape
Town, Turbine Art Fairs, KKNK, Lizamore & Associates, and Artist Proof
Studio. Based in Johannesburg, she actively contributes to the art community,
having programme managed RMB Talent Unlocked and initiating Facture Sessions, a
project uniting isolated artists through free weekly workshops. In 2022, Fleur
coordinated VANSA's Cultural Leadership Programme and managed Carling Black
Label's #NO EXCUSE Art Against Abuse campaign. In 2023 she mentored for ACT’s
Nyoloha Scholarship Programme. Fleur is dedicated to cultivating environments
that foster artists' growth and meaningful development as well as feeding her
own curiosity in her practice.
