Lisa studied Fine Art at Rhodes University and the Ruth Prowse School of Art. After completing a 4-year Diploma in Painting and Mixed Media, she went on to complete a BA in Creative Writing and Literature through Unisa as she finds words and mark-making an equally potent means of expression for her deep love of storytelling. She has worked in both publishing and the art world over the last two decades and has only recently embarked on a career as a professional artist with printmaking as her medium of choice.
Lisa has travelled widely and after much exploration and adventure, has returned to settle in the Eastern Cape where, along with printmaking and writing, she continues to study and collect stories.
