Sharon is a contemporary South African artist who works from her studio in Johannesburg – having graduated in Fine Art and Graphic Design in Durban where she was born. Sharon specializes in oil painting and is also a printmaker who creates her own prints using a hydraulic printing press.
Sharon's career in printmaking spans 17 years and includes a 5-year stint with maestro Collin Cole, who launched the first print workshops at Sharon's Johannesburg studio in 2010. The workshops subsequently ran for 7 years under the expert guidance of Bevan de Wet and print facilitators from APS.
In 2015, Sharon co-foundered The South African Fine Art Print Fair (FAP). Its objective – to bring the South African print community together under one roof thus creating a one-stop shop for printmakers and lovers of print.
Sharon has exhibited widely and sold paintings and prints both locally and internationally.
